Beijing, October 18 (Xinhua) -- The 2018 China New Energy Vehicle Industry User Satisfaction Index (CACSI) released by the China Quality Association on October 18 showed that the 2018 China New Energy Vehicle Industry User Satisfaction Index was 75 out of 100, which is the same as in 2017.

With the continuous upgrading of China's new energy vehicle product structure and the continuous improvement of product quality, more and more users are inclined to choose new energy vehicles. According to CACSI related data, its product pai image scored 76.5 points, an increase of 0.7 points year-on-year; Perceived quality scored 75.7 points, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 points. In terms of product quality, its reliability satisfaction score was 76.3 points, an increase of 5.7 points year-on-year. In addition, the number of malfunctions in 100 new cars was 108, a year-on-year decrease of 13%. The satisfaction score for car performance and design is 75.8 points, an increase of 3.7 points year-on-year. Currently, China's new energy vehicle products are becoming increasingly abundant, with an increasing number of new products for sedans and SUVs (urban multifunctional sports vehicles).
Compared to traditional fuel vehicles, new energy vehicles have obvious advantages in appearance and design, acceleration performance, and quietness inside the vehicle during driving. The evaluation results also remind automobile manufacturers to focus on improving the technical capabilities or performance design level of the following elements: endurance performance; Battery charging speed; Handling and smoothness in adverse road conditions; Comfort when passing through uneven roads.
At the same time, in terms of after-sales service, service efficiency and technical level should also be improved. The satisfaction score for after-sales service of new energy vehicles in China is 75 points, which is 2 points lower than traditional fuel vehicles. So far, traditional fuel vehicles have a relatively complete after-sales service system, but the after-sales service system in the field of new energy vehicles is still in the early stage of development.
